PICO BONITO NATIONAL PARK

This is the largest ‘National Park’ in Honduras. Here you will come across two wonderful waterfalls and both are ‘breathtakingly’ beautiful. The nature of this tour is little bit ‘adventurous’.

CUERO & SALADO WILDLIFE REFUGE

The ‘Cuero & Salado Wildlife Refuge’ is a ‘mangrove forest’, which is having an area of almost 11,527 hectares. It is a real beautiful location with a celestial beauty. Here you will get the facility to enjoy a ‘Burra train cart’ drive, which is pushed by two young men to almost a distance of ten kilometers, all the way to ‘Salado Barra’. At ‘Salado Barra’ you can enjoy a ‘boat drive’ for almost two hours before you reach a splendid beach. After enjoying yourself with all your heart, you can return back using the same methods by which you came. The entire trip will be having a thrilling effect and will be retained within you for a long time!

CACAO LAGOON

This one is a low budget option available which is excellent for a small group. By this option, you can visit the village of ‘El Cacao’ which is famous for its natural beauty and is situated almost 36 kms from ‘La Ceiba’. You can enjoy a pleasure trip in a ‘Dogout canoe’ led by a local member and move towards the sand bank which divides the lagoon and the Caribbean Sea. You will be able to see ‘howler monkeys’, ‘birds’ and in the background you will get the glimpse of ‘Cayos Cochinos’. Definitely this will be a ‘dream come true’ trip for you.

GARIFUNA COMMUNITIES

You will find a lot of ‘Garifunas’ people around the north coast of Honduras. When we trace back their roots, we will be able to see that their ancestors are all from ‘St.Vincent’. You will also see a lot of coconut trees in this part of Honduras and the freshness of the coconut water will give you a real cooling effect, reducing your travel tiredness!

BAY ISLANDS

The Bay Islands has got pure and perfect beaches and also world famous ‘diving destinations’. Another novel facility that is available here is the fifteen minutes flight which will be a real enjoyment. If you wish you can also have a two hours ferry boat ride’ which will give you real mental refreshment.

LA MOSKITIA
